Sharath Hariharpur Satheesh is a highly experienced software engineering professional with over 20 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Caavo, where he is focused on simplifying home entertainment for consumers. Prior to joining Caavo, Sharath worked as the Director of Software Engineering at Violet3D, where he was part of the core team that conceptualized, designed, and developed the first wireless surround system for home entertainment, as well as many other audio-related IPs. He also worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Sling Media, where he initially served as a developer, designing and developing various components for Sling functionality. Later, he was responsible for designing and architecting Sling's Placeshifting functionality in CableModem and various STB products, including satellite, cable, and freesat. Sharath holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore University. He is a highly skilled software engineer with expertise in various areas, including wireless audio, digital/analog channel tune schemes, Slingbox framework, and Slingbox-SlingPlayer communication protocols. He is also experienced in designing and architecting functionality for cable modems and various STB products.
